'There are no strangers here only friends who have never met!'

For 100 years this picturesque and very authentic country Inn has provided Scottish hospitality – and none better than today.

June Cameron and her friendly team continue to promote the Inn's motto, and it is hard to find an establishment where you can feel so easily at home. The remarkable yet very unobtrusive effort which will make your stay such a pleasure was deservedly rewarded recently with Investors in People recognition and the atmosphere of easy friendliness will strike you as soon as you enter the inn with its little welcoming bellring which greets everyone.

Staying here means maximum enjoyment with minimum effort.

There is such a lovely choice of guest facilities here you’ll always feel ‘more at home than at home’. A charming little whisky bar with a stunning selection of malts and copious literature and tasting notes. A real country ‘pub’ with hearty local and very friendly atmosphere. A choice of two restaurants with lovely contrasts in style, ambience and décor, in which to enjoy very interesting and extremely well presented cuisine – and plenty of it if you wish! - where local flavour is king, selected from menu selections to suit every palate - with a very well chosen wine list to accompany.

Imaginative theme nights from palmistry to murder mystery are liberally sprinkled throughout the year. The helpfulness of the team is so ably demonstrated by its ability to help you plan and enjoy visits to a wealth of local attractions from Culzean Castle to the Burns Centre at Alloway, Rabbie’s birthplace – and to arrange some wonderful outdoor activities, from horseriding to shooting and some great local fishing. A day at the Races. A night at the theatre. And of course, golf. A location almost unsurpassed with Turnberry, Prestwick and Troon virtually on the doorstep, countless other great links and inland courses surrounding – and some good bargain golf via the Ayrshire Golf Ticket which the inn will arrange if you wish.
