The Inn at Inverbeg

An entirely new genre of Scottish Inns, the Inn at Inverbeg, on the ‘bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond, is Scotland’s first boutique inn. Completely remodelled and redesigned following a multi million pound refurbishment. It was first opened in 1814, and has retained its traditional charm over the years, serving as a watering hole to generations of travelers, from far and wide.

The Inn at Inverbeg’s, 200 year heritage has been honoured and renewed in a complete redesign. It now boasts stylish bed rooms, including a choice of 4 poster beds. Uniquely stylised public spaces with furnitures in a range of leather, cow hide and of course a roaring fire.

Just a short walk from the main building is our sumptuous beach house right on the banks of the loch, complete with hot tub. These 8 individually styled rooms feel more like Maine, New England with wooden floors and crisp white linens.

We have created a new type of casual dining with Mr C’s Fish and Whisky Bar, serving 200 whiskies and what many are already describing as the best fish and chips in Scotland. You can also savour Scotland’s finest delicacy, the deep fried Mars Bar. All this with an innovative express service method, which allows you to take your own order

Just 2 miles north of the picturesque village of Luss, with stunning views across Scotland’s most famous Loch towards Ben Lomond. It’s still the Inn at Inverbeg right on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, but its better!

7 million people visit the easily accessible wild grandeur of Loch Lomond every year, less than 20 miles from Glasgow city centre. Perhaps the glamour of the area is helped by that famous song “The Bonnie Banks o’ Loch Lomond” (attributed by some to a homesick Jacobite, incarcerated in Carlisle jail in 1746) but the stunning beauty of the scenery brings people back again and again.

Loch Lomond is also the perfect location for an active, sporting holiday as well as a relaxing break. There are boat trips on the loch, opportunities to go sailing, canoeing, fishing as well as hill climbing, walking, hiking or cycling through the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
